Networking
Membership in the PPK-APA and attendance of the chapter meetings is a great way to meet other Payroll Professionals in theKentuckiana area, discuss common concerns, and share information and past experiences
Meetings and Seminars
The PPK-APA holds meetings every month (generally on Thursday) and presents a speaker on subjects impacting the payroll profession such as current and future legislation, technology, compensation, and fringe benefits. Speakers include representatives of government agencies. The chapter also sponsors an annual Tri-State Conference.
Newsletter
Our chapter publishes a newsletter every month that contains national and legislative updates, as well as articles and other information of interest to local members.
CPP Study Group
For members who are planning to take the Certified Payroll Professional or the Fundamental Payroll Certification exam, we offer a study group facilitated by currently Certified Payroll Professional members to assist in preparing for certification.
National Payroll Week
As a joint effort with the APA, the local chapter is active in recognizing all Payroll Professionals for the vital role they play in maintaining the smooth functioning of the payroll tax withholding system and for working effectively with federal, state, and local tax officials.
Annual Dues
Anyone interested in joining their fellow Payroll Professionals in the Metro Louisville area can become a member of the Payroll Professionals of Kentuckiana's Chapter of the American Payroll Association for only $60 per year.

When you are a new member joining as an additional member from an already active participating company your prorate amount is $3.00 per month remaining in the year.
